Our employees have the qualifications for switching authorisation and switching instruction authorisation for low and medium voltage systems. Switching in low and medium voltage systems up to 50 kV requires sound knowledge of risks, handling systems, preparation of switching programs, switching actions, network configurations, network protection and the legal basis. Switching in the vicinity of live parts requires that both the operator as well as the responsible supervisor have a significant amount of expertise, experience and awareness of their responsibilities. In addition, the Swiss Ordinance on Heavy Current also assumes that there is competence in carrying out emergency measures should any failure occur.
It is for these reasons that our employees are commissioned for managing and coordinating the switching process when periodic switching of low-voltage distribution systems is expected with power supply systems.
