Emergency Power Frequency Converter for All Large Railway Stations

The expertise of net powersafe includes the planning and implementation of emergency power supply systems with a frequency converter.

In most large railway stations in Switzerland, the emergency power supply of the SBB is provided by a rotating converter from the 16.7 Hz railway network to the 50 Hz normal network. The converter is fed by the 16.7 Hz network of the SBB and takes over the job of supplying outflows in need of emergency power when the 50 Hz networks fail. In a normal case, this involves the infrastructure where people are located. This type of self-sufficiency is highly sustainable and emission-free.

Our engineers and technicians are specialised in guaranteeing a power supply that is independent of the source and with the best and maximum reliability.

The operating software and visualisation are special developments of net powersafe and are used as standard features in standby power systems. Today we consider ourselves to be an innovation leader for reliable diesel control systems and visualisations.
